Translation
Its integrals are its [four] mandatory acts.

Commentary
Commandments within the Sacred Law [shari'ah] consist of prerequisites [shurut] and integrals [arkan]. In the context of prayer, for instance, to be in a state of ritual purity is a prerequisite [shart], whereas the prostration of prayer [sajdah] is an integral [rukn]. In the case of wudu, all of its four required acts [fara'id] constitute its integrals, and none are prerequisites.
